Join us for TWO Golden Retriever filled weekends in Dewey Beach, DE in 2017

May 12 – 14, 2017 and October 6 – 8, 2017!2016Logo

Previous years brought close to 150 goldens running blissfully free on the beach, chasing tennis balls and swimming together in the surf. A bit of Heaven for everyone to witness!

There are some fun activities planned, all revolving around enjoying our furry goldens for some fun in the sun on Dewey’s dog-friendly beaches. It is a time set aside to spend quality time with our precious goldens and meet others who share the same passion for the amazing breed!  And it’s free.

We have a unique situation this year.

Our Golden Jubilee (typically the first weekend in October) falls on Columbus Day Weekend, which is also the Greyhounds “Reach for the Beach” weekend. Due to Golden Retriever National being in MD the weekend before our event, we decided to keep our date the same so as not to conflict with National.

I am working with the Greyhounds event coordinator to plan the weekend so it will be safe and enjoyable for both groups. We are going to try to minimize activities where we would both be in close proximity.  He will also be sending us some information to help us understand the greyhounds unique needs and precautions.

After 2017,  our event’s date will change so overlap will not happen again.

But for now, let’s just work together for a safe and enjoyable fall Jubilee.
